Fight Foreclosures and Evictions in our Neighborhoods!

• No More Evictions: MVP is calling on banks and mortgage companies to stop all post-foreclosure evictions in the cities and towns of our region. Vacant properties hurt families and make our city streets and neighborhoods more dangerous. Let all families stay and pay rent!

• Fair Mortgages with Principal Reductions to the Real Value:  A huge percentage of homeowners are “underwater”, meaning the home is worth less than the amount that is owed. Many homeowners have the income to pay mortgages that are fair and affordable. MVP is calling on banks and mortgage companies to negotiate fair mortgage modificationsthat include principal reductions for our homeowners NOW!

• Solidarity:  MVP is united with homeowners and tenants and will fight the banks together! No one is alone! Don’t move! Even if you’ve been foreclosed. We must listen to the stories of our fellow church members, neighbors, friends and relatives and agree to stand together. When we are together in large numbers we can be powerful! MVP will fight pre-foreclosure and we will fight to keep people in their homes AFTER foreclosure!

Luchar en Contra de Embargos y Desalojos en Nuestros Barrios!

•  No Mas Desalojos:  MVP esta llamando a los bancos para paren todos los desalojos en los cuidades de nuestro valle!  Casas vasillos producen dolor a familias y hacen a nuestras calles en las cuidades y barrios mas peligrosas. Todos los familias pueden quedarse y pagan su renta!

• Hipotecas Justas con Reduciones del Principal al Valor Real:  Un gran porcentage de duenos se estan “ahogando”, significa que el valor de la casa es menor de lo que debe el dueno. Muchos duenos tiene el ingreso para pagar hipoteca asequible y justa. MVP esta llamando a los bancos para negocien hipotecas asequible y el valor real con reduciones del principal para nuestras duenos de casas AHORA!

• Solidaridad:  MVP esta unido con duenos e inquilinos y vamos a luchar contra los bancos  juntos. Nadie esta solo! Nadie debe moverse! Aunque este embargado. Tenemos que escuchar las historias de nuestras hermanos y hermanas de la iglesia, nuestros vecinos, amigos y relacioneados y estan de acuerdo en luchar juntos. Cuando estamos juntos con mucha gente, somos poderoso. MVP vamos a luchar para evitar el embargo y vamos a luchar para mantener familias en sus casas DESPUES de embargo!
